Animal Half Hour

What is Animal Half Hour?

Once a month an animal is brought in to Pre-school. The Pre-school children are given a short informal talk and get a chance to see, and if they want, handle the animal. We have had everything from a badger cub to a pencil-wielding crayfish. So far Animal Half Hour has been a big hit with the children and we plan to continue it as long as our supply of animals holds out.

Animals that have visited so far include:
  • Arab horse
  • badger cub
  • crayfish
  • floppy-eared rabbit
  • fox cubs
  • hamster
  • huskies
  • kitten
  • lion-haired rabbit
  • miniature pony
  • parrot
  • pheasant chicks
  • rottweiler
  • tadpoles
  • tortoises
