December saw the start of the heavy autumn digging at the allotment. We got rid of the couch grass last year and are now trying to suss the bindweed problem. If anyone is feeling a bit flabby or jaded after Christmas excesses, a few hours digging is guaranteed to lose you pounds, clear your head and give you a sore back. There is a fork left permanently at the allotment, so feel free to pop up at anytime!
